December to Remember

Seventy years ago today
japenese went bombs away.
Pearl harbor was under attack
Hawii's blue skies turned to black.

A plan that was well disguised
caught the Americans by surprise.
Ships sat idle in the bay
infamy was the word of the day.

Japenese ambassadors they had lied
but this news they couldn't hide.
1000 Americans met their death
fighting until thier very last breath.

Our country then became outraged
as W.W.II would soon be staged.
The land of the sun didn't know
we would recover from this deadly blow.

America began to join the fight
as all the people did unite.
Never stopping until the job was done
and W.W. II was finally won.

The Arizona we will always remember
on this day the 7th of December.
